In this installment, runners aren't just nameless sprinters. You are thrust into a complex story mode set within a futuristic simulation overseen by a mysterious, often enigmatic voice. As you navigate the eight primary story levels, you’ll encounter:
- Dialogue and Lore: Engage with "The Voice" and other runners trapped in the system to uncover the true purpose of the experiment.
- The Dash Power-up: A fresh mechanic providing a temporary speed boost, essential for clearing the massive vertical gaps that define the later stages.
