How to play

In Speed Stars 2, players control a sprinter with the goal of defeating opponents and finishing the race in the fastest time possible. Instead of simply holding a button to run, players must alternate between two controls to simulate each running step of the athlete.

At first, the speed is relatively slow to help players get used to the movement system. However, as the race becomes faster, maintaining a smooth and stable rhythm becomes much more important. Pressing too quickly with bad timing can cause the athlete to lose balance or slow down significantly. On the other hand, keeping a perfect rhythm allows the runner to reach maximum speed smoothly.

Besides standard races, the game also includes time challenges and record competitions that reward more perfect runs. Later races become much harder because AI opponents gain speed quickly, and even a short rhythm mistake can create a huge gap.

Game controls

• Left Arrow / A: Left step.
• Right Arrow / D: Right step.
• Alternate taps continuously: Accelerate and maintain a running rhythm.
• Spacebar: Restart / Open menu depending on the version.
