Gameplay: Find Your Way Through the Portals

In Portal Hop, the main goal is to guide the character to the exit area at the end of each level. To do this task, you need to move across platforms and use portals to change your position strategically.

The special feature is the ability to adjust the height of the teleportation portals. The plus and minus icons can change the position of the portals, creating different routes. Some areas can be crossed by teleporting upward, while other sections require you to lower the portal to pass through narrow gaps.

Besides finding the right path, players also need to collect items or symbols required in each level. When players encounter traps, observe how they work before continuing. You can always restart the level and try a different route if you go the wrong way.

Obstacles to overcome

Laser: Laser areas can block your path and require you to find the right timing or route.
Collapsing Floors: Some platforms do not remain stable, making your standing position important.
Spike Blocks: Dangerous obstacles appear in narrow corridors and difficult areas.
Fake Portals: Not every portal will take you to a useful position, so observe before using one.
Guard Robots: Some areas contain patrolling robots, making it more difficult to choose the right path.
Electric Fields: Special areas can affect movement and make you lose additional time.
